Job purpose:
The position is in charge of designing the screens or pages on Mobile Apps and Websites visually
creating the ideal user experience path based on user requirements. UI designers are also
responsible for the style guide and a consistent design across the application. Defining application
behaviour such as how to display an error message are part of the responsibilities of the UI
designer.
Accountabilities:
- Develop wireframes of screens, storyboards, user interaction flows, and sitemaps for Apps
and Websites - Present design deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Expertise and Experience:
- 4 to 12 yrs years working with mobile app development as UI designer
- Three plus years of Ul design experience for Mobile Apps and Web applications
- Experience in ReactJS, NodeJS, Android and 10S mobile development, HTML5, CSS3, REST
APIs - Strong conceptualization and visual communication ability
- Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
- Ability to create wireframes, interaction flows, process flows, site maps
- Experience in CVCD roadmap and implementing to the project
- Good knowledge in Jenkins and other Ci/CD toots in the application(s)
- Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCO methodologies
- Experience in Agile Scrum Projects
- Understanding of common software development practices
- Strong working experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ObjectiveC (i0S), C++ (Android) a
- plus
- Experienced in Web 2.0 development using AJAX, Java Script, DOM, JSON, XML
- Responsible for the design of digital features for web and mobile.
- Apply sound user-centred design principles to influence project strategy and direction.
- Ensure standards and best practices are appropriately communicated and
- documented
- Proven track record and a passion for designing compelling interfaces
- Experience working with clients and various departments within a team environment.
